Gerry Butler on Coriolanus Set

Today actors Gerard Butler and Ralph Fiennes were visited on the Belgrade set of their movie, Coriolanus, by Serbian Defense Minister, Dragan Šutanovac. Coriolanus is a modern day retelling of the Shakespeare play and will star Fiennes as Coriolanus, and Scottish actor Gerard Butler as his foe, Tullus Aufidius. Instead of ancient Rome, the movie will now be set in modern times and feature modern military. Coriolanus is being filmed in Serbia.

This is Ralph Fiennes first time in the director’s chair. He is most famous for his acting roles in the Harry Potter series, as well as The Hurt Locker and The English Patient. Butler’s movies include 300, Phantom of the Opera and Law Abiding Citizen. He was most recently on screens as the voice of Stoick in the animated hit, How to Train Your Dragon.

Not sure what to think of Ralph Fiennes look in these photos, but Gerry is looking fantastic as usual! Wonder if he’s showing off pictures from his recent humanitarian trip to Haiti? What do you guys think?

    I’ve never been one to like facial hair on men… but Goshdarnit, Gerry changed my mind!

    I’m looking forward to seeing this movie. This is gonna be good! Can you also follow progress on Machine Gun Preacher?

    lmao. OMG it is Abe Lincoln! I think I spied pics the other day where his head was shaved so hopefully that means all this mess will disappear off of Ralph soon. Gerry is welcome to keep his facial hair, just for Krissy! ;)

    I will absolutely be trying to find info to share on Machine Gun Preacher. I am really looking forward to that one already. What an interesting and amazing story and Gerry starring is icing on the cake.

    Yes, it will be fun to watch Gerry in this role. He does bad sooooo goooooood!!!!!!

    Machine Gun Preacher is also gonna be a great one to look forward to. I’m gonna do some research on the story behind it. Sounds interesting.
